Age 92, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, formerly of the Carrick neighborhood of Pittsburgh. 

Father of Dianne (Joe) Frankovich; grandfather of Matthew and Colton; son of the late Katherine and John Groll; brother of Frank, and the late Bill, and John; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

His lifelong passion was fishing, hunting and playing piano, and he worked for the port authority as a mechanic.

Visitation will be WEDNESDAY, November 6th, 11 - 12:30 pm at TIMOTHY K. SLATER Funeral Services, Inc. (412-381-3337) 425 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, 15210, where a service will be held at 12:30 pm. Interment following at the St. John Vianney Cemetery.
