"Midge"

'Midge", "Mom", was born on September 2, 1948 in Hyannis (Cape Cod), MA.  She resided in the Beltzoover section of Pittsburgh, but always considered Massachusetts her home.  She transitioned to her eternal life on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She was either Mom or Auntie to anyone who knew her. She loved all children as if they were her own and to know her was to love her.  She wouldn’t have it any other way!  She lived a very carefree life and enjoyed every moment of it. In her early days she tended bar, where she was an ear for anyone who needed it. Later, she worked with the elderly in the Home Health care industry. She loved cooking, music, Game Show Network, Solitaire, crossword and word search puzzles.   

Virginia (Midge, Mom, Damma, Auntie) was married to and leaves behind her husband,Clarence T. Johnson, her daughter, Melissa (Ernie), son, Ceasar, grandaughters, Victoria and Shannon, grandsons, Ceasar and Elias.

She will also be dearly missed by her step-children, a number of Step-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Augusta (Gussie), and her brother, Darieck.

She will forever be engraved in the hearts of all who knew her.

You are our “Hero” (Mariah Carey) , “The Wind Beneath Our Wings” (Bette Midler), and “I hope you Danced” (Lee Ann Womack) your way into the gates of heaven.
