Tyrone West passed away peacefully at 6:45 AM on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at 54 years old. He was born on February 23, 1967, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and remained a resident of the North Side his entire life.

Tyrone loved westerns and lived a life that would have made any wild west outlaw blush. He lived life on his own terms, but always put family first. He will be lovingly remembered by his family including his mother, Mary West; his five sons-- Tyrone Sr., Darrick, Jamiek Sr., Teon, and Anaire; His two daughters-- Ameanah and Ani’yah; and eight grandchildren-- Tyrone Jr, Khi’lei, Amonte, Arionna, Jamiek Jr, Kyng, Nylia, and Amauri; as well as many nieces and nephews and other members of the community who viewed him as a father figure. He is preceded in death by his older brother Bruce West, and grandmother, Molly West.

Friends received SUNDAY, JULY 18, 2021 from 2 - 4 pm at TIMOTHY K. SLATER Funeral Services, Inc. (412-381-3337) 425 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, 15210, where a concluding service will be held at 4 pm.
