Age 32, on Sunday, February 20, 2022, of Penn Hills, originally of Washington, PA, Sara Odeyemi went home to be with the Lord. Even with a failing heart, her smile will always be remembered by those who knew her.
Sara is survived by her husband, Abiola (David), mother, DeeRaye, and father, Jon. She was a loving sister to three siblings: Keisha, Paul, and Jonay. She has left behind a number of family members including nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins who adored her. Her late Grandma Darlene, Great-Grandma Grace, and twin sister Tara Marie have all gone on to glory and were Sara’s pride and joy. It gives our heart great comfort in knowing that they’re together again in the presence of the Lord.
Before departing, Sara wrote a message of remembrance. Sara's Message to Everyone:
Love is work.
Love is overcoming obstacles;
Beating the stereotypical odds, facing challenges, fighting battles, but not each other.
Love is easy to spell, but difficult to define.
Love is work.
But most of all, Love is realizing that every second, every minute, and everyday is worth it because we do it together!
