Sandra Ann “Sandy” Stiefvater (Wisniewski), of the Carrick neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025, at the age of 74.

Sandy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Timothy Stiefvater; her sister, Bobbie Stiefvater; her mother, Marcella Zeitlman; and her father, Eugene Wisniewski. Their memories remained close to Sandy’s heart throughout her life.

She is lovingly remembered by her former spouse Michael McKay and her children: sons John McKay and Christopher McKay, and daughters Kelly McKay and Yvette Chatham. Sandy also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren: Damian McKay, Samantha Chatham, Justin McKay, and Hailey McKay. Their lives are a testament to the legacy she leaves behind.
