Samuel "Peanut"
Age 57, on Thursday, October 22, 2020, of McKees Rocks.
Affectionately known as "Peanut", he was born on February 11, 1963, to Barbara and Samuel Bullock, Sr. in Midnight, Mississippi.
Peanut attended Pittsburgh Public Schools, and graduated from Carrick High School in 1982. He worked for Carnegie Mellon University, and the Convention Center. Peanut loved to dance and listen to music. First, he loved the Dallas Cowboys, but knew he was from Pittsburgh, so he became a Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Peanut was the oldest of five siblings.
On October 22, 2020, Peanut transitioned from this life to be in the presence of the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Barbara Bullock, three daughters, Shalanda Carswell, Shawniece and Shatia Smith, one son, Derrick Stevenson, three grandchildren, two brothers, Robert and Tyrone Bullock, two sisters, Tracy (Wayne) Bullock Carey and Yvette (Jerome) McKinney, and a favorite Aunt Everlena Deere.
He will also be dearly missed by other aunts, uncles, nephew, nieces, cousins, and a long-time friend, Tonya Stevenson.
Peanut was preceded in death by his father Samuel Bullock, Sr., and a son Marque Yellets.
