Sally Kay
On Saturday, May 2nd, 2020, Sally Kay Lyons, of Greenfield, passed peacefully with her loving granddaughter, Krystal, at her side.
Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, on March 8th, 1941, beloved daughter of Roscoe Ellsworth Craig and Rose Gene Craig (Dufour), youngest of three children, Tom and Jim Craig. Sally was a devoted mother of the late Ronny Kirk and grandmother of early departed Kelly Kirk. Survived by a daughter Kristi Garvin, along with her loving Grandchildren Patrick Connors, Krystal Connors, and Emily Garvin, as well as her two great-granddaughters.
In her younger years, Sally greatly enjoyed participating in pool tournaments and spending time with friends and family. She cherished animals and took enjoyment in always being on the move, you could always find her walking around with a smile. During her later years, she took her greatest pleasure in spending time with and helping to raise her grandchildren whom she cared for most of all. Sally’s cheerfulness and compassion for others is something that will be dearly missed by all that had the joy of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be sent to Alzheimer’s Association: Greater Pennsylvania Chapter at 2835 E Carson St Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203 or visit their website https://alz.org/pa.
