KAUTZ
Richard J. "Dickie", Sr.
Age 81, on Sunday, January 21, 2024, of Mt. Oliver Borough.
"In loving memory of Dickie, my dad, a cranky character who added his unique flavor to every moment. He was a master at cranking jokes, always ready with a witty 'colorful' remark to keep us on our toes. Despite his tough exterior, his heart was filled with love, especially for the one who stole his heart – His Marilyn.
Dickie passed away peacefully in his sleep, finally finding warmth in eternal slumber. He never liked the cold, but now he's reunited with the love of his life, his Marilyn, in a place where the sun never sets.
While I'll miss his grumbles, and jokes, I will forever cherish the love he gave me, the time I spent with him, I will forever be grateful for his thoughts and insights he has given me recently. I will forever remember one of the greatest lessons he has taught me: check the lightbulb before changing out the light fixture!
May he continue to crack jokes and find warmth in the embrace of his Marilyn in the afterlife. Rest in peace, Dad. I love you and miss you very much.
The viewing is open to work with your busy schedule, as it will be in the afterlife....in lieu of flowers, enjoy a popsicle or two for him. He would appreciate that!"
