OLIVE JEAN LANDEFELD SCHWARTZ
Age 79, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2021.
She was born August 8, 1941, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of George F. and Olive E. (Snyder) Landefeld.
Jean graduated from Edinboro State Teachers College, now known as Edinboro University. She was with her husband, William C. Schwartz, Esq. of Mt. Oliver, Pennsylvania for 42 years. Jean taught for 35 years in the Bethel Park School District, Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. Most of her teaching career was spent in kindergarten.
Gardening and growing flowers was a favorite hobby of hers, especially beautiful roses. She also enjoyed collecting small steam engines and attending steam shows as far away as England.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William C. Schwartz.
Surviving are her two sisters, Reverend Dr. Ruth Ann Landefeld Campagna and her husband (dec. Charles Campagna) & family of Bealton, VA.
and Margaret Elinor Landefeld Burdell, and her husband Kenneth Burdell & family of Lexington, KY.
Due to COVID there was no public visitation or funeral service.
