"It is with profound sadness yet profound love that we announce the passing of Mary Jane Hartman-Holzer-Johns, of Lawrenceville and Mount Oliver, whose life was a testament to the transformative power of love and kindness.
She was called home on December 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving children and long-time partner, a poignant reminder that love never dies.
Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Mary Jane can attest to her extraordinary kindness, her beautiful soul, and her unwavering dedication to her family. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and family was a boundless wellspring of joy, inspiration, and strength. If you were fortunate enough to be loved by her, you already know the profound pleasure and privilege that came with being touched by her life.
Her infectious sense of humor, her playful spirit, and her remarkable ability to bring joy to those around her will be deeply missed, yet fondly remembered. The way her laughter could light up a room, the way her voice commanded attention, and the way her presence made everyone feel seen, heard, and loved will be cherished forever.
Mary Jane was an avid reader, a passionate bookworm, and a talented artist who loved to draw and journal. She was a devoted partner, mother, grandmother, and friend who reveled in spending time with her loved ones.
Predeceased by her parents, William T. & Helen Jane Hartman (neé Zimmerman), her brother William T. Hartman Jr, and her sister Pam Haddad, and her grandson, Brayden Gatts. Mary Jane's legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched.
