Mary Podolak Obituary
Mary Frances Podolak, age 72 of Bethel Park, formerly of South Park, passed away on April 2, 2024.
She was born in Pittsburgh on May 22, 1951, one of four children of Vincent and Margaret (Chamberlin) McFarren.
She served as Human Resources Manager of the Brentwood Giant Eagle prior to her retirement.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Lisa and all three of her siblings, Margaret “Peggy” Pallus, Vincent McFarren Jr, and Sarah Kerr.
Mary Frances is survived by her three children, Derek (Carly) Podolak, Danielle (Luke) Johnson and Nicholle (Shawn) Cahill; nine grandchildren Nathan, Rayna and Jaxson Podolak, Dillon, Aidan and Makayla Johnson and Blake, Bella and Jasmin Cahill.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews with whom she was very close.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday April 20th, 2024 from 2 – 6 pm in the Jefferson Hills Community Center, 1255 Gill Hall Road, Jefferson Hills, PA 15025.
