Leonardo "Sonny"

Age 78, of Mount Oliver borough, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 12, 2021.

He is predeceased by his wife, Rosella (Dzugan) Almaro, his two sons, Jeffrey and Christopher Almaro, as well as his parents, Helen and Leonardo Almaro, sister, Eileen Allard, and his brother, Joseph Almaro.

Leonardo is survived by his daugher, Rebecca "Becky" Almaro, his grandson, Patrick Dane Stehle, Jr., his sister Lorraine Temsick, brother, Victor Almaro, and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends, whom he loved and adored.

He was a well-known figure in his community, known for his delicious cooking that he would share with workers along the strip-district, his doctors, family, and friends.  He will always be remembered as a kind and generous man with a warm smile.  He will be sorely missed.

Friends and family are welcome to a luncheon/prayer service SATURDAY, APRIL 17, 2021, 12 - 4 pm at the Brentwood VFW Post 1810, 3801 Saw Mill Run Blvd (RT. 51) Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
