LaVerne (Alex)

LaVerne (Alex) Clark, 75, of Bethel Park, formerly of the South Side, passed away on July 2, 2025, after a courageous battle against ALS/dementia.  Beloved wife of 56 years to Jim Clark.  Cherished mother of Anita (Mike) Francus, and Jim (Jessica) Clark.  Proud and loving grandmother to Michael and Alexandria Francus.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Leona Alex.
LaVerne enjoyed quilting and gardening, but above all she was devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Monday, July 14th, at the Timothy K. Slater Funeral Services, Inc. (412-381-3337) 425 Brownsville Road (Mt. Oliver), Pittsburgh, PA 15210, where a Blessing Service will be held at noon.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the ALS Society in her name will be appreciated.
