Age 61, on Monday, November 13, 2023, of the Hazelwood neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

"Kevin Shawn Maroney, age 61, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, November 13, 2023. He leaves behind two daughters, Alice Maroney and Krista Fedorowicz. He was loved and will be missed by his best friend and companion, his dog Roo; as well as his two other dogs he inherited, Charlie and Wesson. Son of the late Alice and Edward Maroney; brother of the late Berenice Maroney-Turkaly (Raymond), Edward Maroney, Denise Maroney, Joseph Maroney (late Toni), Theresa Bauer, Michael Maroney (Donna) and Colleen Essaouab. Survived by his loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. If you asked Kevin about his life, he would say, “I lived a good life.” Kevin missed his parents every day from the moment they were called home to be with God, but one thing he did learn from his father was how to be a good, loving, and supportive father. He was a hardworking man, smart, loved sports, watching western movies and proud to be an American. Kevin is now at peace in the loving arms of the Almighty Father and will continue to watch over us."

Friends received SUNDAY, December 3, 2023,  12:30 - 3:00 pm at TIMOTHY K. SLATER Funeral Services, Inc, (412-381-3337) 425 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, 15210, where a Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm.
