Joan worked long term as a Dental Technician at Hartmans Dental Lab on the Pittsburgh's South Side area, never missing a days work or Sunday mass in over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, ice skating, swimming, and was a majorette.  She enjoyed dinners and relaxing at her nephew's farm in Washington, PA, and loved watching the horses and interacting with the cats which were her favorite.  She is survived by siblings Mae Lauterbach, Eileen Michalski, Donna Harrison, Norman "Butch" Lauterbach, and Christeen Wingo, and is the sister of the belated Ralph Lauterbach, Francis "Buddy" Lauterbach, Evelyn McDade, Carol Martino. She is the daughter of the late Henrietta (Mascari) and Francis P. Lauterbach

She was surrounded by the wonderful staff at Manor Care in Bethel Park, PA, and her favorite nephew, Francis " Bubba" Magliocchi, at her bedside, with prayer and Christmas music.

She is at peace with the Lord and she will be sadly missed.
