James Richard, Jr.
Age 67, on Monday, July 13, 2020, the Pearson/Tischler family lost James to a sudden heart-attack. He was from the South Side, formerly Bethel Park, and originally from the Allentown section of Pittsburgh. He was born July, 25, 1952. He graduated from South Hills High School in 1970. He was a life-long drummer, touring the country, playing with Billy, and his daughter, Mindy Zees. He also taught drums to his students at Drum World.
James is survived by his daughters, Heidi and Amy Pearson; granddaughters, Kyra Fitzwilliam, and Allison Livingstone; and grandson, Michael Patrick Livingstone. He is also survived by his brothers, Louis, Richard J. (Gigi), Andrew "Buddy" (Charlene) Pearson, a sister, Sherri Tischler Clancy, an aunt, Hannah Maranche. He will also be dearly missed by numerous relatives, including nieces and nephews, Stacey, Louis, Jr., David Cheptic, Mindy, and Shawn. He was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Caroline Tischler, by his parent, James R., Sr., his mother, Marilyn (Tischler), and step-father and dad, Herbert J. Tischler , and an uncle, Andrew Pearson.
There will be a time of visitation and a service, however, due to regulation, please wear masks which are required at this time when in public and to enter all facilities.Visitations will be on SATURDAY, AUGUST 8th, 2 - 4 pm and 5 - 7 pm at the TIMOTHY K. SLATER Funeral Services, Inc. (412-381-3337) 425 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, 15210, where a prayer service will be held at 7 pm. Mask will be required for entry.
