Age 78, on Saturday, June 17, 2023, of the West View neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

Beloved husband of Ruth (Harmening);

beloved father of Jerry, Jr. (Suzanne), Mike, Jennifer (the late Les) Ernster;

beloved Papa of JayLee, and Jackson;

beloved uncle of Timothy (Heather) Ruppert.

 Predeceased by his sisters, Joan Ruppert, and Suzanne Rander.

Also survived by extended family, "Honorary Son" Bryan Gray (that GB guy), nephew Sonny (Amy) Harmening, brother in law Earl "Flake" Harmening, sister in law and pastor Lynn Marlowe, and spouse Kathryn Marlowe.

Burial with military honors THURSDAY, June 29, 2023 at 1:30 pm at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pennsylvania.
