"Frank M. Howell, affectionately known as "Black" or "Black Mouth". He was born on January 12, 1950, to Robert Lee Howell, Sr., and Katelea Hoggans Howell. Frank departed his temporal life to eternal life on Sunday, December 27, 2020.
Frank graduated from California High School in 1968. He then went to work for the Homestead Steel mill for many years. Frank was a great man. He embraced and extended love to everyone and was always willing to help anyone who needed it.
Frank leaves behind his children, five sons, Walter, Frank, Jr., Darnell, Mike, Marcus; two daughters, Rasheda, and Kimberly Starr; his brothers, Romaine, Sr., Kenneth, Sr., and Joe Howell.
Frank preceeds in death his mother and father, sisters, Cornell (Tish) and Linda; brothers Reginald, Robert "Bob", Edward Howell, and three grandchildren, Arianne and Chance Howell, and Tryone Harris, Jr.
Frank had a host of family and friends that loved and adored him."
If you are able to come and pay respects, masks will be required for entry in the the building and rotating 10 guests at a time, as friends are being received on TUESDAY 2 - 7 at TIMOTHY K. SLATER Funeral Services, Inc. (412-381-3337) 425 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, 15210, where a closing prayer will be held at 7 pm.
