Francis Michael, Jr.

Francis Michael Korey Jr., passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2022 at the age of 32 in Upper Darby, PA. Francis was born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 12, 1989 to Francis ("Frank") M. Korey Sr. and Bernadette ("Bunni") Korey.

Francis is survived by his parents; his seven siblings, Scott Stadler, Lalita Wertz, Kira Slade, Anne Grubor, Andrea Leonard, Timothy Korey and Joel Korey. He is also survived by eight nieces and three nephews.

Although Francis was from a huge family, he was always in the spotlight when he picked up a guitar or a pair of horseshoes. He loved to dance and make everyone laugh. Francis also enjoyed camping, fishing, playing baseball, football and basketball. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and many who knew him.

Friends received  SUNDAY, AUGUST  14, 2022,   1:30 PM-3:30 PM at TIMOTHY K. SLATER Funeral Services, Inc. (412-381-3337) 425 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, PA 15210, where a Celebration of Francis's life will be held at  3:30 p.m.
