Age 84, on Sunday, December 26, 2021, of Upper St. Clair.

Edward “Newt” Blair of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Dormont died suddenly, but peacefully at the age of 84. Beloved sister of Roberta “Bobbie” (the late Christopher) Patton. Loving companion of 58 years to Eleanor Cunningham. Loving uncle of David (Toni) Blair and Katie (Geoff) Geis. Preceded in death by his parents, Gay and James, his brothers, Richard and James Jr., and his niece, Cathi (surviving husband, Rick) Mahony.

Will also be missed by many great nieces and great nephews.

Newt was a member of the Mt. Lebanon EP Church choir with perfect attendance for 60 years. Newt also volunteered at Asbury Heights for years, and was also a member of the Dormont Historical Society. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held SATURDAY, January 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Lebanon Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 255 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, 15216.
