Donald E.

Age 79, of West Mifflin, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday night, January 18, 2017, while holding his daughter, Leslie's hand.

Don was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Carol Sue, and his son, Donald Dukstein, Jr. He is survived by is daughter, Leslie (Dave) Morgans, grandchildren, Max (Danielle) Morgans, Zack (Liz) Morgans, and Maggie Morgans, his great-granddaughters, Hazel and Zoey Morgans, and his brother Ralph Richard (Carleen) Dukstein.

Don was a long-time member of Peters Creek Presbyterian Church, U.S. Navy Veteran, founder of Option Insulating Company, member and Past Master of Dormont Whitehall Masonic Lodge #684, Scottish Rite Mason and Shriner, and active in other community and professional organizations. Don had many gifts and talents and he enjoyed his life as he tried to bring joy to others. He lived his life on his own terms and impacted many during his 79 years on earth. He will be missed.

A Masonic memorial service, followed immediately by a Christian memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church, 2800 Old Elizabeth Road, West Mifflin, PA 15122.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's name to the Peter's Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church, PO Box 184 Venetia, PA 15367.
