Denis Robert
"Denis Nill, age 77, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones on March 11th, 2025. Son of the late Mary “Dolly” Nill Mineweaser, the late Leo Nill, and late stepfather Albert Mineweaser. Husband of the late Carol Seljan Nill.
Father of Christa (Ed) Seiler, Daniel (Robin), and David (Shelley). Grandfather of Amanda, Emma, and Olivia Seiler, and Nora and Sara Nill. Brother of Leah (the late Bill) Yeager. Uncle of Jeremy (Caitlin) Yeager, Jessica Yeager, and many other nieces and nephews. Stepbrother of Gerry (Jackie) Mineweaser, Albert (Karen) Mineweaser, Mary (Rami) Darwiche, Barb (Derek) Piper, and Joe (Jo-Anne) Mineweaser. Also survived by loving companion Sue Bommer and a host of friends who will dearly miss him.
Denis was a proud Vietnam veteran, a 40+ year employee of US Steel, an active member of the Blue Ridge Mountain Sportscar Club and Metropolitan Police Revolver League, and Board Member of the Carrick Sportsmen Club. He was also an avid volunteer and enthusiastic supporter of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the entire staff of AGH’s Advanced Heart Failure Group for the incredible care they have given Denis over the last five years and to the staff at Paramount Senior Living in Bethel Park for helping to lovingly care for Denis in his final days.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude’s or the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
The world will be a little less cheerful without Denis, but his humor and zest for life will live on in the hearts of all who knew him."

Mass of Christian Burial St. Anne Church, St. Paul of the Cross Parish, TUESDAY 10:30 am. Burial with full military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA at 12:30 pm.
