In Loving Memory of Daniel M. Casne:

"With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved, Dan Casne, who peacefully departed this life on June 22, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was 76 years old.
Dan was a pillar of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love. Born in South Side, he lived a life filled with quiet resilience, hard work, and deep devotion to his family.  A man of many jokes, but endless warmth.  He taught us by example through his kindness, his humility, and the gentle way he touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

He owned and operated Casne Electric for 39 years, earning the respect of his peers and the admiration of those who had the privilege of working alongside him.  More than any title or role, his proudest achievement was the family he nurtured and the values he instilled in us all.

Even through his illness, he faced each day with grace and courage, never complaining, and always thinking of others.  His legacy lives on in the lessons he passed down, the stories he told, and the memories we now hold dear.

Dan is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Casne; his children, Deborah Casne, and Connie Casne; his siblings, Mary Casne Garvin, David Casne, Albert Casne, Don Casne, Pearl Casne Jones; his 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, including best buddy, Giovanni J. Peterson.  He was preceded in death by Pearl R. Jordan Casne, and Albert B. Casne.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he is finally at peace. Good luck on your next journey.  You will forever be missed, but never forgotten."
