Cynthia "Cyndee" L. (Lammert)
"Cynthia Lou Motts, known affectionately as Cyndee, passed away on June 21, 2024, at the age of 67 in Charleston, SC. Born on March 6, 1957, in Homestead, PA, she was a daughter to the late Charles William Lammert and Beatrice Lorraine Lammert. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Lammert.
Cyndee grew up on the Southside in Pittsburgh and went on to established herself as an accomplished seamstress, fashion designer, and interior decorator. Her creative talents were not just her career but her passion, bringing beauty and style into the lives of those around her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gary D. Motts, and sisters Debra Hannon, Karen Schwartzbauer, Marcia Schutzeus, and Kimberly Calio. Cyndee's life was marked by her living, caring, and selfless nature. She had a profound love for horseback riding, beaches, and traveling to various Caribbean islands. Her love for all animals was evident in every aspect of her life, providing a glimpse into her compassionate soul.
The family has entrusted Timothy K. Slater Funeral Services, Inc. (412-381-3337) in Mount Oliver, PA, with the arrangements. Cyndee's life will be celebrated and remembered for the warmth and joy she brought into the world. Her legacy of love and creativity will continue to inspire those who knew her."
Friends received FRIDAY 3 - 8 pm at TIMOTHY K. SLATER Funeral Services, Inc., 425 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, 15210, where a Celebration of Life service will be held on SATURDAY at 11 am.
