Cheryl Novella Freeman
(September 28, 1966 – June 28, 2024) Age 57
"Cheryl Freeman departed this life peacefully on June 28, 2024. Cheryl was born in Pittsburgh's Hazelwood neighborhood, and lived in Arlington, Carrick and Brentwood throughout her life. She graduated from South Vocational Tech High School, then she started working at Kaufmann’s, then Macy’s in their Bridal Shop she finished her career in banking at PNC Bank.
Cheryl loved to read, travel, work on puzzles, and sing and dance. She loved her eighties and nineties music like Journey, Berlin and Fleetwood Mac!!! Cheryl was known for her beautiful smile, laughter, and big heart. She was genuinely loved by all who knew her and will be truly missed by her family, relatives, and friends.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her father and mother, Helen and Donald Freeman. Cheryl, a beloved mother, is survived by two children (her boys) Tristan and Kalin Freeman, three brothers Curtis, Mark, Ronald and the late Donald Freeman; three sisters; Deborah, Donna and Beverly Freeman. A host of nieces and nephews including great nieces and nephews.
Dearest and Beloved Cheryl, you have touched our hearts and left us with many fond and happy memories. You poured your love out to everyone, and without you we will never be whole. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Always and forever in our hearts and minds, may you rest in peace."
Friends received SATURDAY, July 6, 2024, 5 - 6 pm at TIMOTHY K. SLATER Funeral Services, Inc. (412-381-3337) 425 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, 15210, where a Homegoing will be held at 6 pm.
