Barbara "Barbie" J. (Ruffing)

Despite her valiant resolve, Barbie lost her earthly battle on June 23, 2022. She lived her entire life in Elizabeth Township.

Survived by her husband David LoBue, son Derek LoBue, brother Scott Ruffing, mother Diane (Wright) Crookshank and husband Jack Crookshank, father Donald Ruffing, step-sister Kristen Waltonbaugh, mother-in-law Claudia LoBue, and sister-in-law Lauren Means.

Our princess enjoyed spending weekends camping at local campgrounds, strolling along ocean beaches, her puppies, and shopping with her mother. Genuine care and compassion were her hallmark in serving patients as an orthopedic nurse.

Abiding by Barbie’s wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral service. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be planned for the future.

A Service will be held Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the Pleasant Hills Church, 199 Old Clairton Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15236,  at 1 p.m.
