Age 43, on Sunday, June 30, 2019, of the Knoxville section of Pittsburgh.

Beloved mother of Antwan, Jr., Ariq, Sr., and Austin;

beloved "Danna" of Ariq Collier, Jr., and August "on the way"!

beloved daughter of Lydia and the late Curtis Pounds, Sr.;

beloved sister of the late Marcia Williams, and Curtis Pounds, Jr.;

beloved niece of Carlotta Rucker.

Will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and relatives.

A time of visitation with family will be this Saturday, July 6,  10 - 12 p.m. at TIMOTHY K. SLATER Funeral Services, Inc. 425 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, 15210, where a Service of Remembrance will be held at 12 p.m.

          "Danielle Sheree Williams, age 43, of Pittsburgh, Pa., received her wings peacefully on June 30, 2019.  "Danie", as she was affectionately known, was born August 6, 1975; daughter to Lydia L. Williams, and the late Curtis A. Pounds, Sr.

          In 1993, Danie graduated from Perry Traditional Academy High School in Pittsburgh, where she was a proud member of the Color Guard Flag Drill Team and marched in many parades and school athletic events. Danie was a show-stopper!

          During her high school years, she met Antwan R. "Spanky" Collier, Sr., and through that love, she birthed three sons, Antwan, Jr., Ariq, and Austin.

          Danie worked for many years with UPMC where she was a certified medical coder/biller.  She also had a deep love and compassion for animals of all kinds which inspired her to pursue her certification from the Sanford Brown Institute of Veterinary.

          She professed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at  a very young age which reflected her selfless LOVE and CARING for everyone she met.  Danie had an infectious smile that would light up any room she entered...and a heart that was bigger than her small body.  She would give you the shirt off her back and her last pack of chicken in her freezer.  That was Danie's way!

          Danie is preceded in death by her sister, Marcia Williams; brother, Curtis A. Pounds, Jr.; two nephews, Jermaine Palmer and Curtis A. Pounds, III.  She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Lydia Williams; three sons, Antwan R. Collier, Jr., Ariq R. (Shakira) Collier, Sr., Austin R. Collier; one grandson, Ariq R. Collier, Jr., and August R. Collier "on the way"; one loving aunt Carlotta Rucker; one loving niece, Chanel Sheree Palmer; two great-nieces, Ja'Keira and Jasmine Palmer; and two nephews, Christian and Caleb Pounds, and a host of other relatives and friends."
