Age 93, on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, of the Arlington section of Pittsburgh.

Beloved husband of Sophie for 69 years;

devoted father of Rose Marie (the late Bill) Firestone, Carl J. (Adrienne) Holzer, and Deborah Greenawald;

beloved grandpa of Christopher, Julie (Patrick), Michael (Jennifer), Lana, Lee, and Ira (Alex);

beloved great-grandpa of Kendall and Liam.

Will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

Carl enjoyed being a ham radio operator in his spare time.
