Passed unexpectedly on Saturday, November 11, 2017, of Knoxville section of Pittsburgh.

A proud and humble man of 43, survived by his cherished children Samantha Ritter (his Princess) & Devin Jackowski (Monkey Man).

Brian was a devoted son to his mother Joan and is further survived by his partner Tracey (Thornton) & Isabella Ritter (daughter, Bella-bear).

A man whose love and dedication to Pittsburgh sports was surpassed only by the love and dedication he reserved for his family and closest friends.

Further survived by siblings Tracie (Hertrich), Jeffrey & Stacey (Hertrich); William & Carolynn (Hertrich); nephew Austin (Hertrich) and nieces Ashley & Amber (Hertrich).

Friends received Wednesday 3 - 7:30 pm at TIMOTHY K. SLATER Funeral Services, Inc. (412-381-3337) 425 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, 15210, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm.

A Celebration of Life service will also be held on Friday, November 17, at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 971 Beech Avenue, North Side, at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to help offset final expenses.
