Age 62, of Arlington, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017, in Woodland Hills, CA, with her family by her side.

Beloved daughter of Regina and the late Joseph Leszczewski.

Loving wife of James “Kilk” Kilchenstein, and amazing mother to Danielle (Victor Pancerev) Kilchenstein, and the late Jay Kilchenstein.

Loving grandmother of Jaya Kilchenstein.

She also leaves behind eight brothers and sisters, including Jean, Frank, Pattie, Dave, Sue, Joan, Janet, and the late Joel, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She will also be missed by her long time friends, especially her best friend, Linda Fortner, and many others who loved her.

Cathie dedicated her life to her family and helping others. She worked in numerous service jobs until starting and running her own small business – Cathie’s Towing – the first female owned and operated towing service company in Pittsburgh, PA.  She retired from her business in the early 2000’s to help raise her grandchild in California. She loved to cook, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Football fan, loved to draw, and taught Jaya all her skills. She loved spending time at the ocean.

Visitation will be Saturday 12  - 2:30 pm at TIMOTHY K. SLATER Funeral Services, Inc. (412-381-3337) 425 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, 15210, where a blessing service will be held at 2:30.
